Way back when I was teaching Technology classes at Ozarks Technical Community College, I regularly searched out fun things for my students. In April 2005 I came across this “how to” for turning old 3.5″ floppy disks into USS Enterprises.

	take an old 3 1/2″ floppy disk and break it apart. it has to be the kind with the gate made of metal not plastic.
	you will need this part
	and this part
	remove the media
	snip
	fold like so
	and so
	make little snips halfway through the metal to make it easier to get the saucer section on
	put the saucer on, by putting the neck up through the hole and putting the metal of the saucer through the slits you made, and fold down to secure
