Here we go again, politicians trying to change the Missouri Constitution to exempt one county from needing to elect a county assessor.

SJR 5 requires EVERY county to have an elected County Assessor EXCEPT Jackson County Missouri! Why, it MUST be political bribery. Why are they changing our Constitution to pay off one of their crones?

The very title states “Requires all charter county assessors, except the Jackson County Assessor, to be elected” What in the world?

Please vote NO on Constitutional Amendment No. 1 this coming Tuesday and prevent another government bribe from being handed out at the citizens expense.
