Of the many features in Windows 7 is the ability to move around the taskbar icons. Since XP came out you can drag and drop where you want which icon in the taskbar, the same applies to Vista. To move a taskbar icon in Windows 7 simply grab it and drag and drop it to the location you want. That is all there is to it.
To add an item to the task bar simply drag and drop a shortcut from the desktop, Programs menu or elsewhere.
To remove (Delete) an icon, right-click on it and select “Delete” from the menu that appears.
A cool feature if you are a keyboard junkie, instead of clicking on the icons you can open them by selecting the Windows key (the key with the Microsoft logo on it usually between the “Ctrl” and “Alt” keys) on your keyboard and the corresponding number of the icon going from left to right. So Win Key+ 1 would open the first icon, Win Key+ 2 then second and so on.
This last feature works in Vista and Windows 7 but not in XP.
There you go, another way to save a few seconds so you can spend them watching HULU. Until we meet again, have a virus free week!
