Well, Windows has been pumping out the critical updates and so have some other major players.

It is time to run and install all Windows Critical updates and go ahead and upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 while you are at it. Just DO NOT take the default installation. I will cover the install in an article later today or tomorrow.

Firefox has updates along with Apple’s Quicktime (and iPhone) and Adobe release some on Shockwave, Reader and Flashplayer.

My Quicktime automatically ran when I opened it.

Adobe products are at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

For Firefox, open the browser, click on “Help” and then the “Check for Updates” selection and follow the prompts.

Part of my previous tizzy was the infections that are occurring, while these updates by no means will stop the possible infections, it will definitely help.
